Welcome aboard for another journey into the realms of chilled-out psydub and psychill sounds. This time, we’re taking a nostalgic detour, revisiting some classic psychedelic ambient dub and chillout tunes. It’s always a good idea, I think, to tip our hats to these gems now and then—lest we forget, as they say. Tracks like these, after all, are the cornerstones of modern psydub and psybient production, paving the way for new listeners to discover music they might otherwise have missed.
For this mix, I’ve created some new artwork to complement the vibe. I’ve gone for a stenciled, street-art style using my trusty Copic markers, with a dash of abstract watercolor thrown in for good measure. Prints avaialble in my KOALACID RedBubble shop.
If the music and artwork strike a chord with you, why not consider subscribing? There’s plenty more psydub, psychill, and trippy artistry to come in 2025 and beyond !
In this mix we feature a number of new PsyDub tunes from Globular, Deviceful, Dub Puffin and Flowertz mixed in with a couple of of older tracks, creating a deep psychedelic dub journey. I really love the Globular tune - it has just right balance of dub bass and world music sounds that I dig. All these tunes are top notch so kick back and enjoy a sonic trip into the dank dimensions of dubby dynamics.
Once again I've busted out the art supplies to whip up an original artwork for this mix. It's been ages since I've done a full on graphite drawing and I really enjoyed the process. I used a mixture of 2H - 10B pencils in both standard and mechanical pencil forms. If you have any questions on the creation feel free to drop any comment below.

Greetings ! Here is a new psydub mix of psychedelic ambient dub music to take you on an exploratory journey into the outer cosmos. Once again, I've created a timelapse artwork to go along with the trip. I tried to give it an old school fantasy scifi feel - finding inpiration in some of my favorite artists of old. Masters such as Roger Dean,Rodney Matthews, Peter Andrew Jones and all the brilliant fantasy/scifi artists whose work helped shape my imagination as a young lad.
If you have any questions regarding the art or music then feel free to drop a comment and I'll get back to you. I would love to hear from you !
If you are new here, and enjoy this mix, then why not consider subscribing to the PsyAmb YouTube channel and hitting the notifications bell to get more psydub music ( and art ! ) in the future.

Be sure to check them out when you can and I'm sure you won't be disappointed.
Plenty of awesome psychedelic dub, psybient and psybass on offer. As usual I've slipped in a few older tunes too to go with the ebb and flow.
I got the creative juices flowing again for this mix and illustrated an mystical backdrop of my own to go along with the mix. I hope you dig it. Let me know what you think in the comments.

This week's mix is a little tip of the hat to Ektoplazm, a pioneering psychedelic music portal that has opened the minds of thousands of music lovers. For many years, the Ektoplazm website has been promoting and distributing hundreds of psychedelic albums around the galaxy. Even more impressive is that fact that Ektoplazm has been doing this for free all these years via a Creative Commons distribution model.
With the support of donations from a global fan base, Ektoplazm had been a shining light in the psytrance, goa and psybient music distribution community. I myself was first made aware of many artists through the website and will be forever indebted to the tireless dedication of it's one man manager - DJ Basilisk.
For this mix, I will be looking at some of my favorite Psychedelic Dub tunes available on Ektoplazm. From the mighty Globular, who first made his mark through Ektoplazm distribution (and continues to do so after all this time - legend !) to some more obscure dubs that thankfully have been preserved in the eternal hallowed memory banks of Ektoplazm HQ.
You can find links to Ektoplazm, DJ Basilisk and various other Ektoplazm web entities below. Check them out and see what interesting sounds you can find for your own collection.
Hello there and welcome to our next escapade through the sonic fields of psydub. In this mix we feature a few recent releases from the likes of Pranasonics, Shankara NZ and a couple of fine tunes off Liquid Sound Design's excellent new compilation Future Horizons. I hope you can dig it. Kick back, take a load off and enjoy the trip.
Welcome traveller to another chilled psydub mix, episode 135 of the PsyAmb mix series. Take a breather as we dive into the sounds of psychedelic dub and chillout in this new dub mix featuring some original, traditional artwork I whipped up to accompany our auditory journey.
This mix features a couple of brilliant new tunes blended in with a a few older gems to create a mellow journey of summery dub vibes . So, sit back, relax, and let the music carry you away.
This is the first mix to also include some of my original artwork within the YouTube video. You can watch the entire creative process ! Going forward I would like to do more of these and not rely on using stock images or AI generated imagery. It may mean mixes take longer to release but I find it much more honest and rewarding.

00:00:00 Do What I Like - Don Peyote
00:05:07 Timeless - Dubsalon

Welcome friend to another psychedelic chillout journey across the sands of time. For this mix I decided to take a look at some of my favorite American based producers. The Altered States of America if you will.
Naturally there are way too many luminaries to fit into a single mix so I'll have to spread this out over a couple of mixes in total I think. This mix itself is an extended affair, running just over 2 hours. It also has a bit of an old school vibe to it in that it mixes up psydub, psybient and psychill into a harmonic tapestry reminiscent of the early days of the PsyAmb podcast series, when such eclectic blends were the order of the day.
I really dig this one and hope you do too !

In a land where the sun scorches the earth and the nights are colder than a rattlesnake’s stare, he wanders. A man with no name, no past, just the music that echoes through the canyons of his mind.
This ain’t your typical showdown, partner. Here, dub meets psychedelic dub, and ambient techno rides alongside the haunting melodies of the western plains. Old legends and new tales twist together in a dance of shadows and sound. Saddle up, and let the rhythm guide you through this sonic journey across the dub frontier.
This week's mix is a tip of the hat to the art of the Spaghetti Western - a genre of movie making spectacular that I fell in love with many moons past. I've dug up some western themed tunes and spliced them in with some more recent psydub tracks to reimagine the old west in the new frontiers of dubland. I hope you can dig it.

Hello and welcome to another mix of psydub tunes. This time we have a selection of dub styled tracks from two amazing producers - the bass and theremin Italian maestro Gaudi up against the Mexican dub wizardry of Tor.Ma in dub.
These two guys have been releasing belters for many years and I thought it was about time to show them some long overdue love in a curated dub battle of the basses.
I've tried to focus mostly on their original tunes in this mix. Both of these legends are well known for their remixing skills and collaborations but I'll have to save more of those for another day or else this mix would be 10 hours long ! I hope you enjoy the mix and can find some time to follow the links to their online sites ( see below ) and explore their wonderful music. I recommend checking out their YouTube channels too to get some idea of just how passionate they are about music creation.

Welcome to a new psydub mix of chilled out psychedelic dubby offerings from the heart of a distant island where lies the mystical Valley of Dub - a sanctuary where deep basslines and the sweet scent of green fill the air. Encircled by lush hills and ancient trees, the valley thrives with vibrant flora and fauna.
Every evening, the valley resonates with hypnotic rhythms that seem to emanate from the earth itself, filling the air with a pulsating energy - the soothing sounds of nature’s own dub. Here, every breath is a symphony, every heartbeat a drumbeat, and every moment a dance.

Transcend into blissful realms with this hypnotic didgeridoo infused psychedelic chill out mix. Featuring mesmerizing soundscapes that seamlessly blend ancient didgeridoo vibrations with modern downtempo electronica and psychill grooves.
The Didgeridoo is believed to be the world oldest wind instrument, dating back thousands of years. Traditionally made from hollow eucalyptus branches ( modern creations may use a variety of hardwood/wood such as agave or even synthetics such as fibreglass or PVC ), the didgeridoo produces otherworldly droning tones that have been used for centuries in ceremonial music, songlines, and dreamtime stories. Its distinct buzz allows the mind to enter trance-like meditative states.
In this mix, the primordial hums of the didgeridoo intertwine with lush synthesizer textures, tribalistic percussion, and subtle bass pulsations. The tracks smoothly undulate between tranquil ambient drifts ideal for deep relaxation and more upbeat psychill grooves to stimulate mind and body.
Immerse yourself in this sacred ancient future music to find stillness amidst the swirling cosmos. Lay back and ride the didgeridoo drone!

Behold, voyagers, as we traverse the ethereal corridors of cryptozoology, where shadows dance with whispers and mysteries await our probing minds. Within this intricate mosaic of sound, I've orchestrated a symphony of enigmatic entities, inviting you to immerse yourselves in the labyrinthine depths of Fortean phenomena.
For eons, I've been ensnared by the enigma of beings such as Bigfoot, the ethereal Yeti, the spectral Mothman, Nessie, and countless others. Thus, I've endeavored to interlace a tapestry of psybass/psydub resonances interwoven with cryptic visuals, hoping to awaken dormant truths buried in the recesses of the collective unconscious.
Delve deep, my fellow seekers, and unearth the secrets that lie concealed within the symphony of the unseen.

Hi Guys and welcome back to another psychedelic dub mix. Episode 124 presents a number of new tracks from the past few months served up with a selection of older tunes across a spectrum of dub infused music.
Some of the highlights in this mix include Cosmic Pharoah's "Beyond Everthing" which is an awesome take on the Ott/Globular style of production with lots of deep bass and trippy meoldic siginatures while still giving a nod to traditional dub. I also really dig the sound of Razoof's track "Montego Bay" which it's hypnotic refrain. The mix closes with another banger Psybur who is in fine form these days and well worth checking out when you get the chance.
Hope you enjoy the mix and have a great day !
Cheers.
